I set up systems, and I teach people to use them.

I'm Umang Gupta, a consultant based in Toronto. I help Canadian law firms adopt AI: choosing the tools, setting them up, and training the people who use them. I've been working hands-on with AI for several years, and I first worked with it a decade ago, building adaptive learning software early in my career.

Over the past ten years I've worked across product, operations, and strategy, most recently at an upskilling company where I designed executive upskilling programs with government and private-sector partners. My first job out of school was teaching. When I train a team, I break things down, take questions, and stay until people are comfortable.

I spend most of my time on training people, improving workflows, and answering questions.
